Courses

Introduction to Counselling Skills: for those who work with people and want to improve/fine tune their communication skills. Or, for those who are maybe considering counselling as a career. We will identify the core qualities and skills that make a good counsellor and examine some theory.
  • 8 week sessions of 2 hours
Assertiveness & Confidence Building: for those who find it difficult to say ‘No’ or to ever put their own needs first. We will examine the three main types of behaviour, understand how communication affects confidence and vice-versa and learn how to communicate assertively.
  • 6 week sessions of 2 hours
Stress Management & Relaxation: for those who are constantly over-stressed to the point where their health is suffering. We will identify signs, symptoms and sources of stress, explore personality types and identify coping strategies.
  • 8 week sessions of 2 hours
Meditation Group: for those people who want to begin the practice of meditation but find it difficult to do it alone. The session will be a mix of ‘sitting’ (as meditation is known) and discussions of certain elements of Buddhist philosophy and how they can enhance our lives.
  • 1 ˝ hour session on-going
